Fridley, Minnesota

Our Fridley facility is the first U.S.-based electrolyzer production site, reinforcing our commitment to domestic clean energy and job creation. Supported by federal investments like the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and the Inflation Reduction Act, this site plays a vital role in scaling green hydrogen technology.

Mississauga, Ontario

Located at the original Hydrogenics site acquired in 2019, our Mississauga facility assembles proton exchange membrane (PEM) cell stacks for local and global deployment. Located in Canada, this facility plays a significant role in our global strategy to support growing green hydrogen markets in North America.

Oevel, Belgium

Located at a former Hydrogenics site, our Oevel facility specializes in both alkaline and PEM cell stack manufacturing and electrolyzer testing.

  • Produces cell stacks for our HyLYZER 500 and 1000 systems

Manufacturing in Guadalajara, Spain

Opened in April 2024, our Guadalajara plant is one of Europe’s most advanced PEM electrolyzer production facilities. Spanning 26,3715 square feet (24,500 square meters), it represents a multi-million euro investment in accelerating the energy transition.

Home to over 100 highly skilled professionals, the plant was specifically designed with efficiency and sustainability in mind to complement the green hydrogen technology they will enable.
